Menards

I am really disappointed with the customer service at the Sioux City Menards. Historically, I have always had great experiences with Menards staff, but the employees at this specific store have a major attitude problem. It feels like a chore for them to answer simple questions. Management needs to prioritize customer service training for the floor staff because the current employee culture is ruining the shopping experience.

Couldn’t be happier with the experience. Me and my husband went to Lowe’s. We waited over a month nobody ever called us back or came to do measurements. Same scenario with Home Depot we waited three weeks nobody called. Nobody came to do measurements. Oh yes, but of course they took our money and then we had to wait. Almost a week to get a refund. However MENARDS had the carpet we needed in stock. A gentleman named frank Installed the carpet. He did his measurements on Wednesday. Today is Friday morning… That’s literally two days for measurement and install super impressed …They had this old carpet removed Before Frank got back from Menards with the carpet order. They started at 0858 and were completely finished at 1049am …. Won’t be going anywhere else for carpeting needs won’t be using any other contractors for install man I can’t say enough. I am so impressed so happy so relieved this turned out. Absolutely amazing.. If you want a stress-free home improvement project deal with Menards….and by all means please go with Frank for install you will not be disappointed

My father was there this morning bought a snake wire. Once he opened it he noticed it was already used, bent and rusty. We went to return it and the costumer service lady was a complete jerk. She was extremely rude and questioning him like he was guilty of something. Of course my dad bought the one that was taped, but he assumed that it was good if it was put back on the shelf. She also didn’t give my dad a new return receipt or an explanation of why he didn’t need a new receipt. He just slapped a sticker and rudely gave it back. That is very unprofessional behavior. Shouldn’t have someone like that in customer service if they have that kind of behavior!!!!!

Menards is great. They have what you need. I was in Florida a while back. Doing repairs. They have homedepot. The have Lowe's. But honestly. They need Menards. I had to move back to Iowa.
